Pleasant Street Art Walk
Recently I was given the opportunity to photograph for a community event in Prior Lake. It was the 6th annual Pleasant Street Art Walk held by Andrea Mullenmeister of ANM Pottery. It hosted 60+ local artists and vendors and was truly a wonderful event.
There were activities for the kids like sidewalk chalk, cornhole, and giant bubbles accessible for anyone to try. The vendors included, cotton candy, coffee, henna, art, pottery, wood work, tie dye, etc.
However, what I loved most was being able to wander Pleasant Street with my camera, capturing the ambience of the day. There's something peaceful about being able to simply walk around and capture the beauty of the community enjoying each other's company.
I'm looking forward to making it to more events like these to capture the things going on right in our own towns. It's inspiring- seeing all the things people are doing.
Enjoy the highlights!
