Catholic Motivation Coach - Laura Roland

I couldn’t be more delighted to do a personal brand shoot for Laura Roland. She’s a faith driven coach that helps others reignite their passion, boost productivity, and find renewed enjoyment in their work and personal life. Laura is a writer, speaker and retreat leader who is new to Minnesota. She does coaching sessions, and also has a new e-book called Purposeful Productivity (linked at the bottom of this page).

With this photoshoot she wanted to highlight her approachable, intentional and engaging personality. Our first location, where she got her hair and makeup done, was an Industrial Style Light Studio. This beautifully lit location had stunning views of Minneapolis and was an amazing place to start!

Being mindful of her professional yet urban style we decided to stop at FRGMNT Coffee in St. Anthony Main to capture a few lifestyle photos. I couldn’t believe how full the place was but in her true leader fashion, despite being new to the city, Laura took to the environment like a pro. She even struck up a conversation with a girl who gave us a seat and a few photo opportunities.

This is how a photoshoot turns into a memorable day. Capturing more than a headshot, it becomes an adventure! A journey captured. And in it I became a witness of Laura's wonderful energy. She's a positive woman with a positive influence.

Lastly, we went to the Heirloom Cottage, a beautiful rental home nestled by trees. It had a really cool greenhouse we were able to take photos in too. However, it was a cold December evening so we had to move quickly, despite my desire to stay.
