Ivana & Karla

Pure kindness is what I received when I shot with painters Ivana and Karla. These two talented sisters from Ecuador are so sweet! I'm grateful for their hospitality when I went to their home.

Their cute apartment is filled with color and creativity. Their art, being inspired by their previous home country, is packed with all the colors of the rainbow.

Learning about their journey I'm inspired by the passion and connection they have. I wanted to incorporate what I could that told their story, like their bond of sisterhood and straw hats from Ecuador.

I also found it very unique the way Ivana was using the back of her hand as a paint palette. Did I mention she's a singer? I will put links at the bottom for you to check them out!
